Leaky Gut and How To Repair

Leaky Gut is a condition that happens in the digestive system when toxins and bacteria are able to leak thru the intestinal walls. Many people now a days suffer from this same condition and don’t realize it. This condition can come in the form of different symptoms such as:

  • Chronic Diarrhea, Constipation, Gas or Bloating
  • Nutritional Deficiencies
  • Poor Immune Systems
  • Headaches, Brain Fog, Memory Loss
  • Excessive Fatigue
  • Skin Rashes and Problems Such as Acne, Eczema, or Rosacea
  • Cravings for Sugar or Carbs
  • Arthritis or Joint Pain
  • Depression, Anxiety, ADD, ADHD
  • Autoimmune Diseases such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, Celiac Disease or Crohn’s

So as you can see many of these symptoms that people suffer from could be caused by simply put what you eat. The one saying in life that has always been true still to this day, “You are what you eat”. Healthy nutritional food in, positive out come. Fast food, greasy fried, high in sugar in, negative out come. We have to watch what we consume because it has a huge negative affect on your health that can be life changing.


Now that we have that out of the way let us talk about how to combat this condition, because now that we know whose the enemy we can target it, neutralize it, and eliminate it from our bodies problems. First off, the easiest way is to eliminate those negative foods out of your diet and include positive foods instead. Positive foods such as:

  •   Healthy Fats
  •   Coconut and Olive Oils
  •   Avocados
  •   Nuts and Berries
  •   Flax and Hemp Seeds
  •   Wild Game (Salmon, Turkey, Deer)
  •   Steamed Vegetables

You can also take probiotics to help restore healthy bacteria in the gut and L-glutamine to rejuvenates the lining of the intestinal wall. Making a change like that is hard but with determination we can make it work. To be honest that’s the one way to fight it. See your doctor for more on this subject.

So there are many more but I believe you get the point. I myself have had to change my diet up do to my Lupus condition. That is why I want more people to know about this before they get to any of the conditions we discussed earlier.
